The invention relates to an arithmetic unit, a computer program product and a method for navigating a vehicle in a parking lot, the vehicle using detected by sensors information about an environment of the vehicle, the vehicle obtains information on the parking lot of an external data source, wherein the information of the external data source using sensors additional vehicles collected and submitted to the external data source and the vehicle takes into account the information from its own sensors and the information from the external data source when navigating in the parking lot.
