Centrifugal separation container, attitude maintenance adaptor for centrifugal separation container, and centrifugal separation instrument

Disclosed are a centrifugal separation container, an attitude maintenance adaptor for the centrifugal separation container, and a centrifugal separation instrument, which can be used to aseptically separate/clean cells from a cell suspension using generic and low cost disposable containers, and which are suitable for adopting a closed system. The centrifugal separation container, which is set in a centrifuge using the attitude maintenance adaptor, is provided with a container body which has a sealed internal space which can contain an item to be centrifuged, and a port which connects the internal space thereof with the exterior thereof. The container body comprises a first containment section having a large volume and a second containment section having a relatively small volume which is connected to the first containment section and which contains the centrifuged sediment. The port has an opening on the first containment section side. The boundary sections of the first and second containment sections or the container walls near to the boundary sections are flexible, and the opposing boundary sections or container walls near to the boundary sections are joined, so that the second containment section and the port opening can be segregated in such as way as not to be connected.
