Determination of Jar Test Conditions in a Waterworks

Jar test is an important method for determination of proper coagulant dosage. Circular jar test was carried out by applying orthogonal test approach to obtain the optimal and sub-optimal conditions and the coagulation effect was compared under the two conditions. Meanwhile, in consideration of the affecting factors including G value, GT value, and water flow pattern, the appropriate jar test condition in treatment of this kind of wastewater was proposed.
