High Pressure Raman and Luminescence Study of Shuttle-like CaMoO_4: Eu~(3+) Red Phosphor

In this paper,the tetragonal shuttle-like CaMoO4:Eu3+ microcrystal is synthesized by the hydrothermal method.Raman and luminescence spectroscopic investigation were carried out to study the structure and luminscence properties up to 24.7 GPa using a diamond anvil cell.It is found that a reversible phase transformation from tetragonal scheelite to monoclinic fergusonite structure appears at about 4 GPa.Meanwhile,the emission peaks of CaMoO4:Eu3+ microcrystal red shift slightly and reducing of the intensity ratio between red and orange light indicates the rising of the site symmetry occupied by Eu3+.
