Optical Generation of Pulsed Microwave Signals with High-Power Photodiodes

Pulsed microwave signals with record high peak power of 44.2 dBm (26.3 W), 41.6 dBm (14.5 W) and 40.6 dBm (11.5 W) at 10 GHz, 17 GHz and 22 GHz, respectively, were generated using modified uni-travelling-carrier (MUTC) photodiodes.
