Rapid water injection for dust control technology with short boreholes for drilling and blasting coal mining face in thin seam

According to the special miming technique and the water injection dust control requirements of the drilling and blasting coal mining face in thin seam,taking Tianzhuang Mine in Linyi Mining Area as an example,the water injection technology with short boreholes was tested and researched.The suitable water injection technique and water injection parameters were set up.The research results showed that the water injection with short boreholes in the coal mining face could be conducted litter early than the blasting borehole drilling opera- tion or at the same time in order to save the water injection time.The depth of the rational water injection berehole was 2 m and the water injection pressure was ranging from 1 to 6.65 MPa.The water injection quantity for each borehole was about 0.22 m~3 and the water injec- tion time of a single borehole was about 5 to L0 min.The technical parameter of the test could be the references to the coal mining face with the similar conditions in Linyi Mining Area to make the rapid water injection with the short boreholes.
