PURPOSE: An obstacle sensing method using two cameras is provided to secure save drive by sensing an obstacle using a first and a second camera. CONSTITUTION: An obstacle sensing method using two cameras is as follows. The image is obtained with a first and a second camera. The first camera is horizontally installed on the road, on the lower center, to the front of the vehicle. The second camera obliquely installed on the top of the vehicle center to the ground of the front of the vehicle(S210). The outline of the object presumed as an obstacle is extracted from the image of the first and the second camera(S220). The top and the bottom vertical position of each contour line are calculated(S230). The obstacle in front of the vehicle is acknowledged by comparing outputted values(S250). The height and the distance of the obstacle is calculated(S260).
