INTELLIGENT CONTROL OF POWER QUALITY IMPROVEMENT IN GRID WITH COMBINED FACTS DEVICES

This work deals the power quality improvement of grid with STATCOM and SSSC. Power Quality refers to characteristics of the current and voltage, provided to the consumers. This is a major concern for both provides and their consumers. This paper is focus on improving the real power, reactive power, voltage and minimizing the cost. Here, the improvement of voltage is done by using FACTS devices such as STATCOM and SSSC. Model for the SATCOM and SSSC is developed using MATLAB with the help of Intelligent Technique in thirty three bus system.
