Spectrum-efficient optical drop-add-drop network with C-MCLS

This paper studies spectrum efficiency of the proposed optical drop-add-drop network with C-MCLS. Research results show that it greatly reduces the lightpath blocking probability and largely improves the spectrum utilizations compared with traditional ROADM networks.
