The present investigation called training guide in emotional social skills to prevent the exacerbation of problematic behaviors in children in the sixth year of basic education B, from the Alonso de Mercadillo school, 2019-2020; has as purpose; Implement a training guide on emotional social skills to prevent the exacerbation of problematic behaviors in children in the sixth year of basic education B, from the Alonso de Mercadillo school. To achieve what was proposed, a descriptive study was carried out, with a quantitative, cross-sectional approach and a quasi-experimental design; The deductive, inductive, analytical-synthetic and deductive-inductive methods were used; In addition, a validated survey was applied to a sample of 29 sixth-year elementary school students. In the results of the method applied with measurement before and after, it was observed the presence of problematic behaviors, both motor and cognitive, that generated conflicts between classmates, with the teacher and an environment of hostility in discomfort in the classroom. After the application of the proposal, it was observed that said behaviors decreased significantly, concluding that the results of this research, when implementing the guide, allowed to significantly reduce the exacerbation of problem behaviors, thus validating the proposal
