O ENSINO DA CONTABILIDADE E AS PERSPECTIVAS DA PROFISSÃO NA ATUALIDADE: ÊNFASE NO PROFISSIONAL CONTÁBIL QUE LECIONA EM CURSO UNIVERSITÁRIO (THE TEACHING OF ACCOUNTING AND PROSPECTS OF THE PROFESSION IN THE PRESENT: EMPHASIS IN ACCOUNTING PROFESSIONAL WHO)

RESUMO: Este artigo busca mostrar a importância do contador no cenario atual e as diversas areas nas quais podera atuar, enfatizando o profissional contabil que leciona em cursos universitarios. Para tal, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliografica constituida em livros, teses, periodicos, artigos e internet. Para ilustrar o tema proposto foi realizada uma pesquisa de campo em uma instituicao de ensino superior, onde foram entrevistados nove professores do curso de Ciencias Contabeis, por meio de um questionario, no intuito de verificar os problemas enfrentados por eles e apontar solucoes. Houve abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa dos dados. Foi constatado que o ensino da contabilidade, na atualidade, ainda nao e o ideal, pois nao contempla todas as disciplinas necessarias para uma boa formacao contabil. Sendo assim, os professores devem buscar uma atualizacao profissional constante para estarem sempre em sintonia com as mudancas ocorridas no cenario profissional. ABSTRACT: This article seeks to demonstrate the importance of the counter in the current scenario and several areas in which it may act, emphasizing the accounting professional who has taught in university courses. To this end, we performed a literature consisting of books, theses, journals, articles and internet. To illustrate the theme was carried out field research at an institution of higher education, were interviewed nine professors of Accounting, by means of a questionnaire in order to ascertain the problems faced by them and identify solutions. There were both qualitative and quantitative data. It was found that the teaching of accounting, in actuality, is not ideal, because it does not include all disciplines needed for a good training book. Therefore, teachers should seek a professional development are always in constant tune with the changes in the professional scene. KEY WORDS: Accounting Education. Professional Accounting.
