Teachers’ Views on the Relationship between Outdoor Environmental Education and a Sense of Place

2012
This paper addresses how Environmental Education Centre officers and high school science teachers in Sydney view the relationship between outdoor environmental education and students’ attachment to a sense of place. This study also examines the EEC officers’ and teachers’ own associations of a sense of place. Semi-structured interviews with thirteen EEC officers and eight science high school teachers were conducted.
