Image delivery performance of a CT/MR PACS module applied in neuroradiology

Image delivery performance of a CT/MR PACS module was evaluated through a year-long clinical operation. Performance comparisons between the current film-based management system and the PACS module were conducted. By analyzing the elapsed time spent in each modularized task in both systems, the study results indicate the image delivery performance of the PACS system is acceptable in clinical application.© (1991) COPYRIGHT SPIE--The International Society for Optical Engineering.
