The invention discloses a TFT array substrate, a display device and an array substrate manufacturing method. The array substrate comprises a substrate body, gate electrodes, gate wires, gate insulating layers, an active layer, a source drain electrode metal layer, a passivation layer, a pixel electrode and a public electrode, wherein the gate electrodes and the gate wires are formed on the substrate body, and the gate insulating layers are formed on the gate electrodes and the gate wires. The array substrate is characterized in that the array substrate further comprises a capacitance compensation layer arranged on the same layer of the public electrode, the capacitance compensation layer is electrically connected with the gate wires through via holes, and the capacitance compensation layer is used for forming stray capacitance between the capacitance compensation layer and the pixel electrode when the array substrate is powered on. The array substrate has the advantages that the capacitance compensation layer electrically connected with the gate wires is arranged, the stray capacitance is formed between the capacitance compensation layer and the pixel electrode with the corresponding position, the changes of pixel voltages caused by fluctuation of the film thickness of the passivation layer are compensated, and the problems that a displayer is poor in brightness evenness and flicker evenness and the problem of residual images caused thereby are solved.
