Edible film containing fishskin glue collagen and method of preparing the same

2008
The invention relates to an edible membrane containing a fish-skin collagen and a production method thereof. A technical process includes: removing the skin of a capelin and using an acid-alkali method to process; adopting hot water to extract the liquor of the fish-skin collagen; then drying in vacuum to manufacture a fish-skin glue. A certain of dry fish-skin glue, soybean protein and glycerol are batched into a membrane-shaping liquid; after being reacted for a certain time in a proper temperature, the membrane-shaping liquid after vacuumized is reversely arranged in a salver with a frame for drying; the edible membrane can be obtained by tearing the membrane. The material of the invention is the leftovers of fish-skin for processing fish, thus providing a novel approach for the high value utilization of the fish. The technique is scientific and reasonable, is simply and easily carried out; the cost is low; the edible membrane has excellent extensibility, anti-tension intensity and anti-oxidation; besides, the edible membrane is semi-transparent. The product is safe and effective, has no poisonous and side effects, has the double functions of packaging and nutrition, and has a broad market prospect.
