Prozess-Monitoring bei der Emulsionsherstellung : Drehmomentmessung als In-Prozess-Kontrolle bei der Emulsionsherstellung

The possibility to develop a process-monitoring-unit for the production of emulsions based on the relative dynamic torque measurement of the stirrer motor is discussed. In an example it is shown that for the preparation of an emulsion, the continuous measuring of the dynamic torque can provide valuable information about the process and can therefore be used as an in-process control parameter. Experiments in the laboratory scale with a O/W-emulsion have shown that there is a relationship between the dynamic torque and the viscosity measured after production
