The invention focuses on a liquor maturation process which is essentially characterized in that the liquor is subjected directly to musical vibrations transmitted in the volume of said alcoholic beverage (1). The invention also relates to the alcoholic beverage obtained by this process and having a modified chemical composition. Finally, the invention relates to an alcoholic beverage maturation tank (2) having a volume of liquor to be treated (1) and at least one underwater loudspeaker (3) immersed in the volume of the alcoholic beverages (1) and adapted to broadcast music directly in this volume liquor (1).
