DATES OF PUBLICATION OF THE BULLETIN OF THE RAFFLES MUSEUM AND BULLETIN OF THE NATIONAL MUSEUM, PREDECESSORS TO THE RAFFLES BULLETIN OF ZOOLOGY

Recent investigations into the dates of publication of the Bulletin of the Raffles Museum and the Bulletin of the National Museum have found that several volumes were published earlier or later than previously accepted. Accurate date-of-publication data form the basis of fulfilling the aims of the Principle of Priority of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature. This paper serves to clarify the publication dates of these volumes. Nine volumes were found to be published a year later than their printed publication dates (i.e. Volumes 6, 8, 9, 23, 25, 28, 30, 32 and 33), while one (Volume 21), was published a year earlier than its printed publication date.
