220 KV active optical fibre voltage transformer

The present invention belongs to an active optical fibre potential transformer. It is different from passive optical fibre potential transformer in that it does not use optical crystal, and uses a capacitive divider to separate out a lower voltage from 220KV high voltage, then uses a serial analog-to-digital converter to convert it into digital signal, then uses the optical fiber to feed the digital signal into control chamber to make treatment. The power supply of outdoor electronic box is obtained from high-voltage bus by means of specially-designed transformer through capacitive divider. Said invented potential transformer possesses the advantages of safety, high accuracy, low cost and resistance to electromagnetic interference.
