Anterior Q‐Wave Infarction Complicating Attempted Catheter Electrode Ablation of Ventricular Tachycardia

1988
This report describes an attempt to treat recurrent ventricular tachycardia by catheter electrode ablation. The procedure failed to control the arrhythmia and resulted in a Q-wave anteroseptal myocardial infarction. The potential complications of catheter electrode ablation in the normal ventricle are emphasized.
