ANALISIS PERUBAHAN CADANGAN KARBON VEGETASIDI WILAYAH RAWAN LONGSOR MENGGUNAKANPEMODELAN CELLULAR AUTOMATASTUDI KASUS : SUB DAS KODIL, KABUPATEN PURWOREJO

Forest has many functions to environment, which one as carbon sink for carbon that released into the atmosphere. This research was conducted to determine the amount of carbon stock and changes in carbon stocks that occur in sub DAS Kodil using remote sensing and Cellular Automata model in 2002, 2007, 2013, and 2018. This research also conducted to know how the pattern and analysis for carbon stock change in sub DAS Kodil. The method used is divided into 2 main stages, carbon stocks measurement and application of Cellular Automata model. Carbon stocks are calculated using regression equation between vegetation index and biomass from measurement on the field. Cellular Automata is used to projection of carbon stocks in 2018, so the analysis of carbon stocks changes can be done in 2002, 2007, 2013, and 2018. The results showed that the carbon stock in 2002, 2007, 2013 where 3.731,75 kg/ha, 3.815,84 kg/ha, 4.333,99 kg/ha respectivelly. The projected carbon stock in 2018 was 4.527,98 kg/ha. Projection accuracy using Cellular Automata modelling is quite good, which is 83.3% with a Kappa index of 0.75. Carbon stocks keep increase every year even in small amounts, are influenced by vegetation density, age and type of plants, and changes in land cover.
