Measurements results of average neutron multiplicity from neutron induced fission of actinides in 0.5-10 MeV energy range
1994
Review of measurements was made in VNIIEF in a frame of investigation program of average neutron multiplicity energy dependence from fission of {sup 235}U, {sup 237}Np, {sup 240}Pu, {sup 241,243}Am, and {sup 245}Cm nuclei by neutron with energy from 0.5 to 10 MeV are presented. Uranium target of electron linac was used as neutron source. Measurements were set-up on time-of-flight technique in 28.5 m flight path. Neutron from fission were detected as the capture gamma-rays by gadolinium nuclei in 400-liters liquid scintillated detector relative {bar {nu}}{sub p} for {sup 252}Cf spontaneous fissions. Acts of fission were detected by parallel plate avalanche detector of fission fragment. Experiment technique and corrections are described. The results of measurements are shown in graphics. Data are compared with the results of other experiments and evaluations.
