Organization of the first week of the 8th Hellenic Summer Study by the European Research and Training Network, Probe for New Physics: main objectives and outcomes

The first week of the 8th Hellenic School on Elementary Particle Physics was organized according to the experimental scientific objectives of the European Training Network 'Probe for New Physics' guided by the Physics topics traditionally covered at the Corfu School. The main topics covered at the School are described and their educational impact accessed.
