Hydrosphere monitoring apparatus and purifying apparatus

1992
PURPOSE:To correctly observe the water quality in the hydrosphere and the suspended matter including phytoplankton thereby to diagnose the degree of pollution by photographing a liquid in the hydrosphere on a magnified scale, analyzing the waveform of the obtained analog signals and detecting the presence/absence of a suspended matter. CONSTITUTION:An observing equipment 10 is constituted of sampling tubes 18A-18D, a transfer device 11, a detecting device 12, a photographing device 13 and the like. The detecting device 12 detects a suspended matter existing in a collected sample liquid, with outputting signals corresponding to the amount of the suspended matter. The photographing device 13 is comprised of a first casing 13A and a second casing 13B via a flow cell 133. The photographing device 13 photographs the liquid in the hydrosphere on a magnified scale and obtains analog signals. The waveform of the analog signals is analyzed at a waveform analyzing device 22, thereby to detect whether the suspended matter is present. If the suspended matter is not present, processing of images is not carried out. Only when the suspended matter is present, a characteristic amount measuring means of an image processor 25 obtains the data related to the size, form and luminance of the suspended matter which is then stored in a main memory device.
