The article describes the process of creating a mathematical model of schoolchildren professional choice to manage the schoolchildren groups. Forecasting and planning professional choice using a mathematical model is considered as a variant of pedagogical support of schoolchildren professional self-determination. The results of model’s verification are presented. We identified a number of factors during the analysis of schoolchildren professional self-determination at micro-processes level, i.e. determine the individual personality of their choice in the world of professions. With the help of an expert assessment (Delphi method) factors were evaluated as predictors, and served to determine eighteen dependences relating to the categories of "expert knowledge" and "facts" that formed the basis of the model. The model can be represented as a graph. It can be used both in subject area "technology" and in extracurricular activities to model the schoolchildren professional choice.
