Measurements of the fragmentation cross sections of pyrimidine and tetrahydrofuran for electron energies of 50 eV, 100 eV and 300 eV

2015
An experiment has been developed to study fragmentation cross sections of biomolecules by different radiation sources. In this study, cross sections for the fragmentation of pyrimidine and tetrahydrofuran molecules after impact ionization by incident electrons with energies of 50 eV, 100 eV and 300 eV have been measured.
