Creep of Ni-based single crystal superalloy: finite element analysis of blade creep

This paper is the third part of the research on creep behavior of single crystal superalloy.A UMAT subroutine of ABAQUS based on the creep model was developed.The first order blade of a turbine was chosen as the simulating model.The DD3 creep data and the real temperature field was used to analyze the influence of crystal orientations to the blade creep behavior though defining different crystal orientations.At the same time the influence of the deviation of secondary crystal orientation was also analyzed.Consequently the influence of crystal orientations to the blade creep behavior was found.Unlike the material creep behaviors,the dispersion of blade creep behavior is great though 10° deviation of the crystal orientation is controlled.
