The application of veno-arterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VA-ECMO) is an emerging form of resuscitation in the cardiac catheterization laboratory (CCL). There exist few studies to evaluate the specific use of VA-ECMO in the CCL for cardiac arrest (CA) or cardiogenic shock (CS).
