Trends and Cyclps in Surface Temperatures of the Canadian Atlantic

2010
Ternperature variations in the surface sea water at St. Andrews, N.8., indicative of variations in surface water temperatures over the main portion of the Atlantic coast of North America, have been expressed mathematically, and cycles of 3.3, 9 and 15 years are involved. It is suggested that cvclic variations in tidal forces and sun spot activity are associated with the variations in the surface water temperatures.
