PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide effective means for improving dispersibility of a sediment or an aggregate of microbial cells generated during production or storage, concerning beverages and foods containing microbial cells such as lactic acid bacterium.SOLUTION: A microbial cell-containing beverage contains (A) microbial cell powder, and (B) polyglycerol fatty acid ester formed by ester linkage of polyglycerol having a polymerization degree of 3-10 and fatty acid having a carbon number of 10-18.SELECTED DRAWING: None
