Method of producing articles from aluminium alloys
2014
FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: claimed process comprises the alloy smelting, casting of the solid billet with globular microstructure, heating of the billet to the temperature somewhere between the solidus temperature and liquidus temperature of the biller alloy for production of thixotropic material. The billet is moulded in the temperature range of the material thixotropic state. Note here that the moulding is performed at variable rate, first, at 45-90 mm/s and, then, after material reaches the temperature some 15°C above material solidus temperature, it is degreased to 2-5 mm/s. Now, the billet is cured at 50-80 MPa for 5-20 s. EFFECT: higher ultimate strength σ B , yield pint σ 0,2 , and metal use factor. 2 cl, 1 tbl, 1 ex
