Avaliação odontológica-cirúrgica do paciente renal crônico

A insuficiencia renal cronica e caracterizada pela perda irreversivel de uma grande parte dos nefrons. Suas causasmais importantes podem ser atribuidas a disturbios dos vasos sanguineos dos glomerulos, dos tuberculos, dointersticio renal e das vias urinarias inferiores. Os pacientes portadores desta patologia apresentam alteracoes que devem ser levadas em consideracao durante o atendimento cirurgico odontologico. Podem apresentar anemia,hipertensao, insuficiencia cardiaca congestiva, alem de alteracoes funcionais das plaquetas que acabam aumentando o tempo de sangramento. Baseando-se na literatura pertinente, e relatado um caso clinico cujo objetivo e sugerir uma conduta a ser seguida antes, durante e apos o tratamento cirurgico odontologico desses pacientes.(AU) Chronic renal disease is characterized by the irreversible loss of many of the nephrons. It is mostly caused by disturbances in the blood vessels of the glomeruli, tubercles, renal interstice and lower urinary ducts. Patientsthat have this pathology present alterations such as anemia, hypertension and cardiac insufficiency that mustbe taken into consideration during surgical dental treatment. In addition, they may also present functional alterations of plaques which result in increased bleeding time. Based on the relevant literature, the authors report a clinical case of this disease with the aim of suggesting a form of management to be followed before,during and after the surgical dental treatment of these patients.(AU)
