A Monitoring and Evaluation Method for Medium-Voltage Switchgear and Its Application

Aiming at the monitoring weakness of existing monitoring instruments for medium voltage switchgear, a monitoring and evaluation method for multi-condition monitoring system was developed. On the basis of built hardware system, the working process was illustrated. To better realize effective evaluation, the fuzzy-neural network based on T-S model was introduced into diagnosing program. This model achieved good evaluation effect through training and testing, so that it could grasp the health condition of the switchgear. To prove the effectiveness of and accuracy of this methods, field tests had been carried out, and the direction of large-scale application for this method was also given by diagnosis of these tests.
