A herbicidally active and fungicidal activity, the formula (I) [Formula 1] Of 5-oxy-substituted 3-phenyl isoxazoline-5-carboxamide and 5-oxy-substituted 3-phenyl isoxazoline-5-thioamides are described. In this formula (I), X, A is a unit bond or a divalent. Y is a chalcogen.
