The present invention provides a battery charging system for an electric vehicle charging station, the battery charging system comprising: a charging unit for supplying power which can charge a battery of an electric vehicle; a charging cable connected to the charging unit and having a connector corresponding to an inlet of the electric vehicle; and a cooling unit disposed at a spot where the electric vehicle stops, so as to supply cooled air toward the battery of the electric vehicle during charging.
