Effects of Activated Charcoal on Anther Culture of Different Rice Combinations

The effects of activated charcoal(AC) on anther culture of different rice combinations were investigated.The results showed that AC could significantly enhance the seedling height,root length,root number and fresh seedling weight of tested rice combinations except for V20B/02428,thus AC is propitious to the growth and differentiation of rice seedling in anther culture.
