The utility model provides a dual power output gearbox and a vehicle traction power system which are applied to railway maintenance equipment. The gearbox is characterized in that one end of an input shaft is connected with a low-speed power source; a first end of an output shaft is used for outputting a driving force, and a second end of the output shaft is connected with a high-speed power source; a primary driving gear member is fixed on the input shaft, and a primary driven gear member is fixed on an intermediate shaft; a secondary driving gear member is fixed on the intermediate shaft, and a secondary driven gear member is sleeved on the output shaft; a first clutch member is fixed with the secondary driven gear member, and a second clutch member is fixedly connected with the output shaft in the rotating direction of the output shaft; and a clutch control mechanism is connected with the second clutch member, is used for driving the second clutch member to slide along the axial direction of the output shaft, so that the second clutch member is in contact engagement or separate engagement with the first clutch member. Thus, the flexible switch between a high-speed working condition and a low-speed working condition can be realized; and meanwhile, the requirement of high-power output under the high-speed working condition is met, and the speed accuracy and operation quality under the low-speed working condition are guaranteed.
