Abnormity diagnosis device and method for elevator

The invention provides an abnormity diagnosis device and method for an elevator. Under the condition of diagnosing elevator abnormity via a sound, since various sounds are produced in the periphery of the elevator, environment sounds, which are not caused by the elevator, such as vehicle or person sounds are mistakenly detected to be abnormal sounds of the elevator. In the abnormity diagnosis device for the elevator, in a lift car or outside a lift car of the elevator, more than two sound collecting units are configured at intervals (of a base line), a principle of dimensional sounds is used to calculate a sound source position, after a pre-processing that the sound source position of abnormity is determined to be in the periphery of the elevator apparatus, abnormity diagnosis is performed via comparison with a previous normal sound determined in the elevator apparatus periphery at the sound source position, and an alarm is made under the condition of abnormity via diagnosis. Therefore, via the pre-processing, the condition that environment sounds not caused by the elevator are mistakenly detected to be abnormal sounds of the elevator is prevented.
