Determination of mass-transfer surface for methylene chloride extraction of petroleum products from water

The kinetics of the methylene chloride extraction of petroleum products from water in a vessel with a turbine type of mechanical mixer is analyzed. The stage in which basic resistance to the process is concentrated is determined on the basis of theoretical calculations, and the coefficients of mass efficiency and transfer are also calculated.
