Pressure effect in a differentially heated square cavity

Our purpose is to study the effects of the
pressure work forces on natural convection in a square cavity, with numerical
simulations using a 2D compressible model. The results obtained show the pressure effect
in the energy balance for two cases, the first one under a microgravity field and the
other one with very low differences of temperature. We show as well that advanced
assumptions must be avoided without preliminary sensibility tests in the numerical
simulations of natural convection flows.
