Device and method for measuring end-tidal carbon dioxide

The invention discloses a device for measuring end-tidal carbon dioxide. The device comprises a U-shaped shell, a light source, a barometric pressure sensor, an infrared detector, and an adapter arranged on the U-shaped shell, wherein the U-shaped shell is provided with an inner cavity; the light source, the barometric pressure sensor and the infrared detector are arranged in the inner cavity; the light source and the infrared detector are respectively arranged at the two sides of the adapter; the light source and the infrared detector are arranged on the same axis; the adapter is provided with an air chamber; the device also comprises a gas circuit pressure sensor used for detecting the pressure in the air chamber. The invention also discloses a method for measuring the end-tidal carbon dioxide. In the specific mode of execution, the device comprises the gas circuit pressure sensor, so that the device can be directly used for detecting the pressure in the air chamber, and the measurement accuracy of the end-tidal carbon dioxide can be improved.
