Speed Sensorless Direct Torque Control of Direct-drive Permanent Magnet Wind Generator

Wind energy is an environmentally friendly energy source. In daily life, wind energy is mainly converted into electricity. Conventional wind power systems use induction motors, but induction motors have the characteristics of complex structure, strong coupling, and difficulty in maintenance. Therefore, this paper chooses direct-drive permanent magnet synchronous generator, and adopts speed sensorless control and direct torque control scheme. Through the analysis of the simulation results, the control method adopted in this paper greatly simplifies the control structure of the direct-drive permanent magnet generator and achieves better control results.
