An Innovative Study on Experiment Teaching of Material Physics and Material Chemistry

Based on the characteristics of material physics and material chemistry, and combined with teaching experiences and conditions of local university the outlines of two experiment systems (materials synthesis and processing , properties of materials) have been worked out. In the 2 years' practice, several students have done well in the “Challenge Cup” National College Student Extracurricular Science Works Competition and the “Creativity Cup” Contest of college students. The problem in the material physics and material chemistry experiment teaching in the past two years is also discussed in the paper.
