Green triangle: Blue gum exports now cranking up

The 177,000ha Tasmanian blue gum plantation industry in the Green Triangle is really hitting its straps, as large areas of hardwood plantations are maturing and are being harvested. Those trees are being grown to supply fibre to overseas paper manufacturers who specialise in making high quality writing papers.
