PADUA, F. T.; ALMEIDA, J. C. C.; MAGIERO, J. Q.; NEPOMUCENO, D. D.; SILVA, T. O. and ROCHA, N. S. Dry mater and seed production of tropical legumes cultivaded under different row distances. Revista Universidade Rural: Serie Ciencias da Vida, Seropedica, RJ: EDUR, v. 24, n.2, p. 67-71, jul.-dez., 2004. It was evaluated in the Section of Forage crops of DNAP/IZ/UFRRJ, Seropedica, RJ, the dry matter productions (kg/ha) and of seeds (kg/ha) of the legumes: perennial soybean, calopo, macrotiloma and puero, cultivated in two spacings (0,5 and 1,0m among lines), in stonemasons of 4x5m. It was used at randomized blocks design with four repetitions, being the averages compared by the Test of Tukey. Differences were not observed (P>0,05) among the spacings. The macrotiloma presented the largest production of MS, following for the puero and the calopo. The perennial soybean, due to her slow development didn't present production of MS to be picked; however, it was possible the crop of seeds. The calopo presented the largest
