Introduction: The climacteric is a stage in a woman’s life where physical changes, social and cultural rights, which test their psychic ability to conduct psychological and sexual adjustments necessary to enable it to maintain your emotional balance and continue its development. Objective: To determine the factors associated with sexual disorders in women during menopause. Material and methods: We performed an observational, longitudinal and descriptive climacteric Women’s Hospital Materno Perinatal Monica Pretelini attending the gynecology outpatient in a period of 10 months, with the following criteria: Women climacteric period of 40 to 55, who agree to participate in the study after informed consent and having a sexual partner. To determine the universe of study, an analysis of the female population in the outpatient clinic of the Hospital Materno Perinatal Pretelini Monica, with an expected frequency of 70%; this results in a sample of at least 80 women. And the results are expressed in percentage. Results: Of a total of 80 interviews were conducted in the outpatient clinic 34 patients were aged 4044 years (42%), 25 (32%) are in the age range of 45 to 49 years of age, while that of 50 to 54 years there has been an incidence of 16 (20%) and 55 5 (6%). All reported having sexual intercourse, of whom 10 (12%) report having sex more than once a week, 26 (33%) once a week, 17 (21%) once every 15 days, 22 (28%) once a month and 5 (6%) every 6 months. As can be seen include one time per week and one time each month.
