Effects of PEGylated defibrase on platelet aggregation and coagulability activity

2011
Aim To investigate the effects of PEGylated defibrase on platelet aggregation and coagulation function. Methods The platelet aggregation rate(PAGT) induced by adenosine diphosphate(ADP) was assayed by labor aggregometer-153 platelet aggregation analyzer to study the effects of PEGylated defibase on platelet aggregation in rats.Thrombin time(TT),protrombin time(PT),activated partial thromboplasting time(APTT) and fibrinogen(FIB) were observed at the same time to study the effects of PEGylated defibrase on coagulation function in beagles. Results All doses of PEGylated defibrase significantly inhibited platelet aggregation in rats induced by ADP,and prolonged TT,PT,and APTT in beagles.FIB was also decreased after the treatment by PEGylated defibrase, while the peak time and the lasting time in PEGylated defibrase group were longer than those in the positive group. Conclusion PEGylated defibrase exerts a remarkable effect on antiplatelet aggregation and coagulation function.
