Treatment of intrahepatic biliary calculi with choledochoscope combined with in traoperative ultra sound and Helix Hydro-Jet
2011
Objective
To evaluate the clinical significance of the treatment of intrahepatic biliary calculi with choledochoscope combined with in traoperative ultra sound and Helix Hydro-Jet.
Methods
The clinical data of 211 cases with intrahepatic biliary calculi from January 2004 to December 2008 were collected and analyzed, including group Ⅰ, 70 cases with stone removal by choledochoscope; group Ⅱ, 68 cases with stone removal by choledochoscope combined with intraoperative ultrasound; group Ⅲ, 73 cases with stone removal by choledochoscope combined with intraoperative ultrasound and Helix Hydro-Jet.
Results
The calculi residue rate were 21.43%, 8.82%, 4.11% in group Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, respectively. Calculi recurrent rate were 31.43%, 16.18%, 5.48%, respectively. The rateo of occarrence of cholangitis were 14.29%, 11.76%, 2.74%.
Conclusion
Choledochoscope combined with intraoperative ultrasound and Helix Hydro-Jet can decrease calculi residue rate, calculi recurrent and rateo of occarrence of cholangitis, and may improve the therapeutic effect.
