The method of the invention for the configuration of a system built around at least one digital network and comprising at least one analogue intelligent component or operating in all-or-nothing is characterized in that when inclusion of a new or modified component, a configurator accesses the data characterizing all the values read and written on the network by this component in the physical sense relating to control systems, in addition to data typically transmitted on the digital network.
