Effect of Cordyceps militaris polysaccharide on proliferation of mouse spleen lymphocytes in vitro

To verify immune activity of Cordyceps militaris polysaccharide(CMP),the MTT method was used in the test,and then the mouse spleen lymphocytes were incubated in RPMI-1640 tissue culture medium supplemented with ConA(final concentration of 5 mg/L)and CMP(concentrations of 1,0.5,0.25 mg /L) for 48 h.The in vitro proliferation of mouse spleen lymphocytes was observed.The results showed that CMP could significantly promote the proliferation of mouse spleen lymphocytes within 0.25 to 1 mg/L.It indicates that CMP has immune-enhancing activity.
